Hans Raj College scored a definite 'first' in Delhi when it launched its web site way back in 1998 - the Golden Jubilee Year of the College. The then web site was inaugurated with much fanfare, and received wide media coverage. In the ensuing 14 years, the college web site has grown by leaps and bounds, and is in fact almost on its way to become a true portal of the college, its history, details of its very many proud employees & students, and its multifarious activities.

Hans Raj draws its students and its faculty from almost all over India. It becomes imperative that the College establishes an enhanced country-wide visibility. As the College has its alumni the world over - an effective cyber presence truly serves the purpose of letting everyone seek info about the College. Rated as amongst the top colleges in basic sciences and humanities, Hans Raj intends continuing to draw the top talent from all over the country - be it in the form of students aspiring for undergraduate enrolment, or meritorious candidates seeking a teaching career at any of the faculties here.

In case one domain is not accessible, visitors may try any of the others. All the three domains are updated simultaneously. The point of having multiple web sites hosted at three different global geo-locations is to ensure information accessibility on 24x7x365 basis.

We care, and we genuinely do. Our web sites include information even about our retired colleges, our non-teaching staff, and very soon we are going to provide a fairly wide cross-section of our alumni worldwide in a proper sub-section of our web sites.

We strive to update our web sites as frequently as we possibly can - at least once every quarter generally, and far more frequently during the busy 'admission period' that usually lasts from May to July every year.

We have reasons to believe that Hans Raj College is perhaps one of the very few educational institutions in the world (if any at all) to possess such multi-domain cyber presence. We will continue provide uninterrupted access to online information about the college as far as we possibly can.

We currently enjoy a very quick & effective 24-hour response period to any online queries/emails that merit urgent attention.

Though we have taken ample care to design our site to high technical specifications, users employing iPad, iPhone, smartphone, tablets and other mobile connectivity devices like netbooks & notebooks may face problems, especially while using 'portrait' orientation and in mouse-over functionalities. We will soon attempt to upgrade this site to almost perfect specifications for all sort of connectivity devices available in the market. For the present, this site is best viewed in normal PCs and laptops with Internet Explorer as the preferred browser. Javascript drop-down menus, sub-menus and their secondary menus may not display properly in other browsers like Safari & Firefox etc. Also, the bigger the screen, the better will be your viewing pleasure - for the present, our web sites are best viewed in PCs and laptops at 1024 x 768 or 1920×1080 pixel monitor display, preferably in 16:9 format
